A freelance writer for the past 21 years, Gabrielle has been published in almost every major Canadian magazine and is the author of two books. Over those years, she has regularly written on medicine and health, including work for a large roster of pharmaceutical and pharma-marketing companies. Most recently, she was the lead editor and writer for Parcel’s development of the Alliance of Blood Operators’ online risk-assessment tool. She has won seven national writing awards, including National Magazine Awards, KRW Awards for business writing, and the Canada Japan Book Prize for her first book. Her second book was a finalist for the Edna Staebler award for creative nonfiction.
